Alvis-Unipower Series M Prototype

The first prototype of a new range Alvis-Unipower was the heavy transporter Unipower Series M (8×8) with 405-horsepower diesel engine Cummins, automatic 6-speed ZF gearbox and the twin-steer front axles, designed for installation of equipment weighing up to 24 tons and could tow up to 60-ton tank trailers. Only one prototype was built for military demonstrations in the Gulf.
