Alvis-Unipower

Short period of this British heavy trucks and chassis brand is concerned with the inclusion to the military-industrial company Alvis of a small company Unipower in 1994. Unipower specialized in producing of special all-wheel-drive vehicles.

The joint company Alvis-Unipower continued production of the Unipower's model range. Alvis activity in this area was short-lived: in 2000, the leadership group decided to concentrate on producing of military equipment.

In early 2001, Unipower was resold to Singaporean group Avimo Group, and the license for its tractors was acquired by French company Nicolas.
