Albion Model 118 / 122

Model 118. 1935-1940. Introduced in 1935 to replace the Models 40/41 in the 30/40 cwt payload sector, the Model 118 bonnet type and 119 overtype were the lightest chassis in the range, but followed closely the design of the 126 and 127 models. Four engines were listed during its five year production run, two Albion petrol units (EN211 and EN216) and two oil engines (Gardner 4LK and Dorman 4DS). The standard was however the EN216 four cylinder petrol engine of 3.39 liters capacity driving through a 4 speed gearbox to an overhead worm rear axle.

Model 122. 1935-1940. In 1935 the bonneted Models 122 and overtype Model 123 replaced Models 43/44 in the 2 to 2.5 tons weight range. They shared the identical specification of engine, gearbox and axle equipment as the light Model 118/119 types with only tyre equipment and perhaps springing differentiating the two ranges.
