The truck has a wheel configuration of 6×6 and a licensed cab from the old Iveco ( Italian trucks with this cab started producing in Miasse in 1997 ). On the Comtrans 2013 Ural featured an updated version of the tractor. The most noticeable difference is facelifted front dash, the car is does not look like a “guest” from the 1980s.
Some improvements was made for drive axles, transfer case, the truck got a pneumatic brake system and steering system of the integral type. The power unit is a new diesel engine JAMZ -536 , recently launched into the mass production. Transmission is ZF or Chinese Fast Gear. According to the factory, all these innovations have allowed to increase machine capacity up to 13 tonnes ( gross combination weight – up to 38 tonnes ), to reduce the average fuel consumption, and a service interval increased up to 15,000 km. Serial production of the truck “Ural-44202-3511-80” will start in 2014.
