Allis-Chalmers 260 / 260E Series A

In 1968 the Model 260 Series A replaced the original version. The new machine was restyled and received a new 300 horsepower engine. The elevating scraper also was updated. GVW of the 260E Series A was increased to 59,300 pounds (ca. 27 t). This time the elevating scraper was designed and built by Allis-Chalmers.
