15 ton 4-axle model CX7 with 8×4 wheel configuration was offered with 9.1 litres EN242, six cylinder EN245 petrol engine of similar capacity, and the Gardner 6LW oiler. The latest models were equipped with the newest EN243 oil engine of 9.9 litres capacity. Vacuum assisted brakes were employed on all axles except the leading axle, which was unbraked. Postwar models had vacuum assisted hydraulic brakes.
