The vehicle itself is designed as a heavy-duty and short-range solution for industrial distribution. No fewer than 67 wheelbase lengths will be available and versions such as the Loader or Volumer, each designed to do a specific task very well. The cab is 2.3 meters (7.5 ft) wide and is available in two lengths (short and medium).
Power comes from a variety of engines (13 in total) with power outputs ranging from 238 hp to 510 hp, transmitted to the road via an automatic PowerShift transmission. Other details are sparse and we’ll probably have to wait until September to get the full scoop on Mercedes’ new truck.
