Chevrolet Step-Van 7 ‘1969

1969 - 1973

In 1969, a small Step-Van 7, as well as the big Step-Van King, received an updated design of front mask in a style of the other Chevrolet trucks. It still used a 102-inch wheelbase. Previously optional, 230 cu. in. Six rated at 140 hp became the standard equipment for Step-Van 7. Customer could choose one of 5 available transmissions.

The bodies were available in 7-ft. and 8-ft. length, 65″ and 69″ heights, capacities from 211 to 258 cubic feet. Sliding side doors and wide opening rear doors that measure up to 69″ across made loading easy. The standard equipment in 1970 included 250 cu. in. Six rated at 155 hp and 3-speed mechanical transmission.
