Chevrolet Series HD / HE / T

In 1938 all cars and trucks received several changes. One of the minor changes involved a completely new grille, using horizontal bars rather than verticle. This minor trim gave a totally new look to the front end.

A panel delivery body was added to the 3/4-ton and 1-ton series. Series designations ran HD for 3/4-ton; HE for the 1-ton; TA and TB for the 1.5-ton of the 131.5-inch wheelbase, and TC and TD for the 157-inch models.
