The family Hippo includes three-axle models, which are exploited both on the roads and off-the-roads. The gross chassis weight with the wheel arrangement 6×4 is 25 t. The tractors are capable to draft road trains of the gross weight 49 t even in the heavy-going places.
The Hippo has an exceptionally sturdy frame, drum brakes and a spring suspension. Six-cylinder diesel engines Ashok Leyland and IVECO with the 9.5-11.1 liters capacity develop the 200-255 hp power. The gearboxes are manual 9-speed of the own production.
