MAN is getting ready to Christmas and New Year

Just like every year, this year will again see two specially decorated MAN Christmas trucks bringing a sparkle to eyes – not only of the children – at Christmas markets, Children’s Villages and kindergartens from the end of November to Christmas Eve.

The MAN road trains with their Christmas decoration and festive illumination will be touring throughout Germany as well as in Poland and Austria. Their tour takes them from Stuttgart via Hamburg, Leipzig, Dresden, Halle, Nuremberg, Altensteig, Kaufbeuren, Landshut and Augsburg to Munich. They will also be making stops at the MAN plants in Plauen, Salzgitter, Starachowice, Cracow, Poznan and Steyr. The two MAN Christmas trucks will be visiting kindergartens, children’s hospitals and other social institutions, taking with them chocolate in the shape of trucks and cuddly reindeer toys as small gifts for the children. They will also be visiting some of MAN’s outlets and partners, as well as various Christmas markets.

Trainees from MAN Truck & Bus AG in Munich have transformed the two Nightfire Red Metallic TGX 18.540 4x2H semitrailer tractors into real Christmas trucks. With 540 hp and equipped with MAN HydroDrive®, the innovative engageable hydrostatic front-axle drive, they will reach their destinations safely and punctually, bringing pleasure to the children no matter how bad the weather and road conditions. The trainees mounted 200-metre long chains of lights, able to withstand weather and washing systems, on each of the tractors and their semitrailers. They also framed the radiator grilles with hundreds and hundreds of LEDs. Reindeer on the semitrailers express the season’s greetings in six languages – Frohe Weihnachten – Merry Christmas – Feliz Navidad – Joyeux Noël – Wesołych Świąt – Buon Natale.
