All-wheel drive Canter for Japan

Starting sales in the Japan market, the new 4WD Canter light-duty truck model complies with the world’s most stringent JP09 emissions regulations (Japan Post New Long-Term Emission Regulations). Furthermore, the emissions of NOx and PM of the new Canter are 30% lower than required by the JP09 regulation.

In addition, this is the first time for the company’s Canter 4WD truck model to fulfill Japan’s 2015 fuel efficiency standard for heavy-duty vehicles (hereinafter “FES2015”), achieving its class-topping low fuel consumption. All-low-floor, full-time 4WD installed on all standard cab variants enabling stable driving conditions and comfortable boarding position. High-floor, part-time 4WD installed on all wide-cab variants for offering optimal driving force in snowy regions.
