Improved Fuel Efficiency of Mitsubishi Fuso Caner Eco Hybrid

While significantly reducing carbon dioxide emissions, the latest version increases fuel economy to about 11.6 km/liter (2-ton truck) by optimizing the program of the hybrid control unit. This makes the Canter Eco Hybrid the most fuel efficient hybrid truck in Japan in the 2-ton class.

Now sales of the Canter Eco Hybrid have exceeded 900 units since launch, including sales outside Japan in London, Ireland, Australia and Hong Kong. The Canter Eco Hybrid installed with a VG turbo engine 4M42(T3) (96kW/130ps) comes also with superior drivability in combination with its 2-pedal INOMAT-II mechanical automated transmission.
