Askam Fargo Hi-Ex

The new cabover series Fargo Hi-Ex was introduced in 2004. The range includes dump trucks, chassis and tractors with carrying capacity of 19, 26 or 32 tons. Axle arrangements are 4×2, 6×2 or 8×2. There are some developments of chassis with axle arrangement 10х4.

The cabin of Fargo Hi-Ex is turned from the MAN L2000 cab with a different design. The interior is identical to MAN’s, except for a different logo on a steering wheel. Customer can choose only one engine – the diesel, turbocharged and intercooled MAN D0836 which has 6871 cc and 292 hp. The transmission is mechanical 16-speed ZF.
