Beifang Benchi ND
1st series — 1989
On the basis of an agreement with the German concern Daimler-Benz, signed in September 1988, the Beifang Benchi started producing a wide range of trucks with a factory index ND, similar to the Mercedes-Benz SK of the first series. They were equipped with units manufactured in China under the license.
The range included trucks with wheel configurations 4×2, 4×4 (series ‘1000’), 6×2, 6×4, 6×6 (series ‘2000’), 8×4, 8×8 (series ‘3000’) and 10×4 (series ‘4000’). Engines – 240-480 hp. There were versions with a modified bumper and elongated rectangular headlights.

2nd series
Later, the truck was modified. It received a radiator grill and front fairings in the style of the Mercedes-Bnez SK of the second series, as well as a front bumper with updated optics.
The range included models from 1624 (4×2) to 3932 (10×4) and consisted of dump trucks (letter K after the digital index), long wheelbase chassis (letter L after the digital index), tractors (letter S after the digital index), as well as all-wheel drive trucks (letter A after the digital index). The engines comply with EuroII standards.
3rd series — 2008-2012
From 2008, a slightly modernized version has been produced along with the regular ND models. It had a modified front grille and enlarged headlights. Some models were equipped with a bumper in the style of Mercedes-Benz Actros. The interior was completely new.
4th series — 2012-p.t.
In 2012 the company tried again to hide an old age of this truck with a slight restyling. Trucks received a new grille, stylish side fenders and a new bumper with headlights in a style of Mercedes-Benz Actros.
BeiBen NG80 is available as a 4×2, 6×2 and 6×4 tractor; 4×2, 4×4, 6×4 and 8×4 chassis; and 6×4 and 8×4 NG80B dumper. They fitted with 6-cylinder diesels Weichai WP10 / WP12 or Yuchai YC6 with an output from 270 to 380 hp. Gearbox is manual, 9- or 12-speed.
