Avia 6500 / 7000

In 1969, Avia presented the heavy-duty model Avia 6500 with a payload of 6500 kg. In 1973, it was replaced by Avia 7000. Curb weight — 3640-3850 kg depending on of the version. Payload — 7150-7370 kg. GVW — 11000 kg. The model was available in 3 versions with wheelbase of 3000, 3400 and 3800 mm. Overall length — 5645, 6245 and 6880 kg, respectively.

Avia 7000 features increased track (1838 mm of the front axle and 1730 mm of the rear), which led to using of wider front wheel arches. Tires — 8,25-20. Perkins diesel rated at 100 or 136 hp was used as the powerplant.
