Autocar Type C

1926 - 1931

In 1926, Autocar began to produce a parallel line of conventional “engine-under-the-hood” models. They were designated by C letter in the index. The range included 3 tons models CK and SCKA with 4-cylinder 32 hp and 6-cylinder 41 hp engines, respectively; 3 tons dump trucks CHPDS; 3.5 tons models CKAS and SCKAS with the same engines; and 5 tons models SCM and SCL with different wheelbases and a 6-cylinder 48 hp engines. There was also a tractor version SCMT with a 6-cylinder engine.
