In their search for the ideal parcels van BRS (British Road Service) developed the Austin VA, introduced in 1958 and supplied in large numbers until the early seventies. They were built by Star Bodies, the NFC’s (owners of BRS) in-house bodybuilder and became known as Noddy Vans.
