American LaFrance Type 18 / 21 / 22 / 24 / 29

The front-drive tractor of the Type 18 was intended to install steam pumps. In 1913 the first model the Type 18 with 6-cylinder 100 hp was presented. A year later, a version with 4-cylinder engine was showed. In 1914 the company unveiled Type 21, Type 22 and Type 29 for Metropolitan steamers.

The first was equipped with a 6-cylinder engine producing 100 hp and the other two with a 4-cylinder engine producing 72 hp. In the same year the Type 24 with a 4-cylinder 72 hp engine and 137-inch wheelbase was showed.
