ACF XM148 Gull

In 1953 company has been testing the successor of GMC DUKW353 – model ACF-Brill XM148 Gull. It was a 5-ton amphibious three-axle all-wheel drive chassis, equipped with 6-cylinder 250 hp Hall-Scott engine. Dimensions of amphibious – 10670x2970x3010 mm. It has fiberglass reinforced plastic hull. In 1954 was made another version – XM148E1 differ only in details. But serial production never came.
