Ashok Leyland Guru 4×4

At the DefExpo 2018 in India, Ashok Leyland showed the Guru 715 4×4 light military logistics truck. It was developed to use by the military forces of India. It can be a flatbed truck, or an Ultra-Light Recovery Vehicle.

Ashok Leyland Guru 715 4×4 tactical truck was designed to meet the specifications provided by the military to change the aging fleet of medium trucks.

The truck is equipped with a 5.8-liter 6-cylinder engine that meets BS III environmental standards coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The maximum speed is 100 km/h. It can overcome inclines up to 30° and move with a transverse incline up to 15°. Payload is 2.5 tonnes, GVW is 8.25 tonnes.

A little later, a lighter Ashok Leyland Guru 712 4×4 was added to the range, equipped with a 4-cylinder H4 diesel. Its carrying capacity is 1.5 tonnes, GVW is 6.5 tonnes.
