Mack R800SX

Model R800SX designed to work in particularly difficult conditions. Fields of work are oil fields, coal mine, transportation of heavy loads. The range R800SX included:

R811 RSX – Mack ENDT673C turbocharger, 250 hp

R885 RSX – Maxidyne 6, 237 hp

R895 RSX – Maxidyne V8, 325 hp

R897 RSX – Mack Thermodyne, 375 hp

Mack built Transmissions have 5, 6, 10, 12 or 18 speeds. Total gross weight could reach 45 tons. In 1973 three R897 RSX 8×4 were built for Goldworthy mining operation in Shay Gap.
