DAF YAV 2300

In 1983, DAF received the order for over 200 military trucks which included 85 7-ton 4×4 trucks YAV 2300DHTD for AFCENT (Allied Forces Central Europe). It was derived from the 10-ton 6×6 DAF YAC 2300 truck used by the army of Netherlands. Most of the YAV 2300 trucks were used to transport Dornier antenna tower.

The engine — 6-cylinder DAF DHTD825 with a volume of 8250 cc and power of 213 hp. Overall dimensions — 7820x2490x3150 mm. Wheelbase — 4500 mm. Curb weight — 10.2 tonnes.
