Chevrolet Series 6500 ’58

Within a year of the release of the first truck, General Motors do Brasil introduced an updated version. The new 6500 Series trucks received a front end styled after the 1954 U.S. Chevrolet trucks.

The 6.5-ton trucks were equipped with a reliable and unpretentious 4.2-liter engine rated at 142 hp and a 4-speed manual gearbox. The 6500 Series trucks were nicknamed “Marta Rocha” in honor of Miss Brazil.
