Chevrolet N-series ’08

2008 - p.t.

Since 2008, the Chilean plant has produced a new generation of Chevrolet N-Series light- and medium-duty trucks, based on the Japanese Isuzu Elf. From 2008 to 2009, these trucks were also assembled in the United States as the Chevrolet W-Series.

Three versions were available in Chile: the NKR, NPR, and NQR, with different payload capacities. The NKR could carry 2,800 kg (NKR 513) or 3,500 kg (NKR 613), the NPR had a payload capacity of 5,000 kg (NPR 815), and the NQR could carry 5,800 kg (NQR 918).

The lightest model in the range, the NKR, was equipped with a Japanese 3-liter turbodiesel engine with a common-rail fuel injection system, producing 131 hp. The heavier NPR and NQR models were powered by a 5.2-liter turbodiesel engine producing 150 hp and 175 hp, respectively. All N-Series trucks were available only in white.
