Chevrolet F-series ’09

p.t.
In August 2009, Chevrolet introduced a new generation of F-Series trucks, based on the Japanese Isuzu F-Series. The most noticeable change was the completely new, more spacious, and comfortable cab. The front axle was moved 185 mm rearward to improve weight distribution and maneuverability. In addition, the rear suspension was fitted with a stabilizer bar.
The F-Series, apart from the intermediate FRR 1121 model, included the 10-ton FTR 1524 and the 12-ton FVR 1724 and FVR 1830 models. All trucks were equipped with a 6-cylinder 6HK1-TCN turbodiesel engine rated at 240 hp in the FTR 1524 and FVR 1724, and 300 hp in the FVR 1830. The heaviest version had a GVW of 17 tons.
