Chevrolet C60 / D60 / D70 ’79

1979 - 1984

For the last five years of production, the C60/D60/D70 range was produced with an updated design and several technical improvements. The only external difference was the redesigned front grille. The gasoline-powered C60 and diesel D60 models had a GVW of 10,700 kg, while the D70 had a GVW of 12,700 kg.

The diesel variants were equipped with either a DDAB-53N engine rated at 122 hp or a Perkins 6-357/2 engine rated at 112 hp. All models were equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Each series still included three main versions, differing in wheelbase length: short-wheelbase C64, D64, and D74; medium-wheelbase C65, D65, and D75; and long-wheelbase C68, D68, and D78.
