CityFreighter is a clean-tech startup with team members in the United States, Europe, and Asia. The company is developing smart, light-duty (Class 1–3) commercial electric vehicles for last-mile delivery, combined with intelligent front- and back-end integration with customers’ value chains to meet the future needs and challenges of urban logistics.

Last-mile logistics is changing and facing numerous challenges. The company believes that the solution goes beyond simply replacing fossil-fuel-powered engines with electric motors. Electric drivetrains and batteries are quickly becoming commodities, allowing CityFreighter to focus on what it considers more important: developing customized vehicle concepts that seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure and the evolving business requirements of fleet operators.

CityFreighter’s modular approach enables precise customization of key infrastructure components for the serial production of commercial vehicles. This is a key differentiator from large OEMs and other competitors. Developing fully customized trucks for large fleet operators thus becomes a reality.
