Chevrolet Brazil
Commercial
Chevrolet 11000 / 12000 / 14000 / 22000
In 1984, General Motors do Brasil introduced a new generation of Chevrolet medium- and heavy-duty trucks. The new range included four series, designated 11000, 12000, 14000, and 22000, depending on payload. In some sources, the prefix “D” can be found before the numerical designation, for example, D14000.
The 14000 Series trucks were produced in 2- or 3-axle versions, while the 22000 Series was available only with three axles. The trucks were completely redesigned externally. A new angular front end with an original design and rectangular headlights positioned at the bottom of the grille was combined with an entirely new cab.
In the mid-1990s, General Motors do Brasil ended commercial vehicle production and shifted its focus to passenger cars.
