Astra HHD9

Astra showed off at BAUMA 2013 the updated HHD9 heavy construction model. The range includes 3- and 4-axle chassis with IVECO Cursor 13 engines meeting Euro 3, Euro 5 or Euro 6 environmental standards.

They are available with power of 380, 420, 440, 480 and 540 hp (Euro 3), 410, 440, 480, 520 and 560 hp (Euro 5), and 450, 500 and 560 hp (Euro 6). The payload of the front drive axle was increased to 11 tons, and each of the rear axles to 20 tons.

The GVW of Astra HHD9 can reach 60 tons, and the maximum width is 2.9 meters. Therefore, not all versions are available for use on public roads. But they are ideal for work in quarries. Astra HHD9 is also available as a 6×6 truck tractor with an engine pwer of 480-540 hp.
