Autocar DC-6364

In 1964 Autocar made a new addition to its model lineup – heavy-duty lightweight tandem truck for on- and off-highway operation DC6364. Rated at 50,000- to 56,000-lb GVW, it weights 12,900 lb with standard components. With weight-saving options, it weights 11,870 lb or less.

Standard equipment includes a 16,000-lb front axle; 160-hp, 6-cyl diesel engine; 5 speed manual transmission and 4-speed auxiliary; and 34,000 lb, single-reduction, tandem rear axle. Options include a fully automatic, 6 speed torque converter transmission; tubeless flotation rear tires; and aluminium cab.
