Atkinson Viewline

The Viewline was first shown at the 1966 Commercial Vehicle Show at Earls Court. For a brief period of 1968/9 it was listed as the standard cab on Atkinson’s double-drive heavy haulage tractors, but the Mk II cab was available as an option at a cost reduction of £150.
This cab had a deep single-piece main windscreen with wrap-around quarter glasses. Prototype of Viewline had concealed radiators, but the market preferred the time-served Atkinson radiator outline with the ‘Big A’ or ‘Circle A’ device centered upon it.
