In the mid-1980s, the Brazilian Chevrolet lineup included the intermediate A40 and D40 models, which occupied a position between light pickups and heavy-duty trucks.
The series included gasoline-powered A40 and diesel-powered D40 versions. These vehicles featured the cab from the light-duty pickups and dual rear wheels.
