At the regular Rally Barretos 2011, which was held on March 25-27, the race truck Mercedes-Benz Atego 1725 4×4 with starting number 401 was the winner again. For this race Mercedes-Benz has made some improvements in its racing truck. The most important is an upgraded suspension, which has become more comfortable. Some changes were made to meet the amended rules of the competitions.
The engine makes 440 horsepower and torque of 1800 Nm. The transmission has also received some improvements to enhance its reliability. Comfort of the crew during the race was raised by the air conditioner and electric-powered windows. Probably all this were helped to win this race.
